Friday Night Lights may come to an end!
Nay, it’s not what you’re thinking about…. the fourth and fifth season of Friday Night Lights would surely hit the TV screens. I am talking about next to these two seasons. Most probably, Friday Night Lights would get canceled after these two seasons.
The series star Connie Britton said in an interview that Friday Night Lights may come to an end after the season finale of the fifth season of the series. But she also gave little hints about the tiny possibility of the sixth season. She added, “You never know-if it does do really, really well, may be they would go on for more seasons.” So, it’s apparent that the outcome of the planned two seasons would determine the future of Friday Nights Lights. Hopefully, things will go the right way and fans will be given some more seasons of their favorite NBC Network series.
Well, Connie is okay on both sides. If Friday Night Lights returns with the sixth season, the lady would like to portray her respective character and if it doesn’t, she would like to see the end of the drama. Connie also said that the upcoming seasons of Friday Night Lights are going to be strongly strong and would have the enough flavor to keep you fans tied to the series.
Won’t you like to see the end of Friday Night Lights through the eyes of Connie. Yeah… let me tell what she says about the end of the show if it gets canceled after the fifth season “Julie would’ve graduated, so I’d love to see her off somewhere fantastic. I think it would be interesting to see [Coach and Tami] end up at the same school again, back to being on top a little bit, but even as I’m saying that I’m thinking, what if we end up moving away out of Dillon? That could be really interesting, too”.
The time of Emmy nominations is also approaching us. Let’s see whether Friday Night Lights would make it up to Emmy or not. Hey… I have hopes on several cast members. May god help the series to grab two-three Emmys this year?
Well, please don’t start worrying about the future of Friday Night Lights from now. Two seasons are to be aired soon and the future depends upon their ratings.

Two more seasons of Friday Night Lights confirmed
Third season of Friday Night Lights wrapped up the stuff on January 14, 2009. It consisted of 13 episodes only and plunging ratings put the future of the show on risk. The warning bells of cancellation were sounded to when show’s ratings saw a fall of 1 million directly, from 3 million to 2 million. Things kept on getting more complex as the show representatives kept mum regarding the future of Friday Night Lights. But, as of now, the fans can feel relieved as Friday Night Light is out of harm’s way.
Two more seasons of Friday Night Lights the fourth and the fifth one, have been announced officially. A, heart felt, thanks to the creators of the show who decided to bring Friday Night Lights back, despite the mediocre ratings of the previous seasons. The upcoming seasons of series would be containing 13 episodes each. Once again, we would first catch the episodes on Direct TV before it moves to NBC Network for airings. An attempt to cut cost has led to the decision of shooting the episodes of the fourth and fifth seasons back-to-back. The location, chosen to shoot the upcoming episodes of Friday Night Lights, is Texas once again. As the show is all about a Texan high school football team, so no other place on earth could provide better backdrop than Texas can. Almost certainly, the fourth season of Friday Night Lights would be premiered this fall. Fifth season would be following it in the respective manner.
Though it’s good news that Friday Night Lights would be back, fans must get ready to face a vast shift in the storyline, which found its way in the previous season. As we saw in the third season various characters, including the ones portrayed by Taylor Kitsch, Minka Kelly, Zach Gilford and Adrianne Palicki, had graduated. The question to be answered is- would they return on the show or have they done with their part. Nothing can be penned before any official statement so we would have to wait.
I am always in quest for the FNL news, so would let you know as soon as it comes out. Keep visiting.
