I am not a Friday Night Lights hater, instead I love the show. But yes I am a bit angry with the long wait they guys are causing due to their deals with the channels. I’ve read from Buddy TV that thirteen episodes of third season of show will be aired on October1 on direct TV but in February on NBC. The buddy reports show speculations that who don’t have direct TV would prefer to illegally download episodes of Friday Night Lights, immediately after they will air on Direct TV. But I disagree with this.

I am also a huge fan of Friday Night Lights and I have watched the shoe regularly. In fact after it had its finale and was preparing for the third season, I kept on watching the previous episodes here. But now, when I am getting news about the show that Jason and Smash will be in recurring roles and many other characters will be busy in concentrating upon their careers more than the game, I think I am more interested in the previous two seasons rather than the new one.

I am not finding anything exciting in the storyline now which can make me curious of watching it as soon as possible. Many people must agree with me at this point, and I suppose, now everybody will have that patience for the third season that they will be able to wait for whenever it will come.

I would like to watch the show only if it is gonna present something different and related with the game. I want the storyline now to be attentive towards game more than the emotional drama. Now I want the team cheering up after winning so may matches and appearing in newspapers regularly.

It will be wonderful if their competition gets tougher than before and the writers involve viewers as well in their fears about the tournaments and preparations against the rivals and based upon observation of rival’s past records. I’ll find the show entertaining now if it presents hard work of players in practice sessions and seating players in the thrilling scenes of last minutes of matches.

Hey welcome to Friday Night lights . In this section I am going to share something wonderful about the show. We all know Tami Taylor, the intoxicant performer as Coach Eric’s wife. This year she has bagged one nomination for her from Television Critics Association awards in the category of ‘Individual Achievement in drama’.

I have not seen much of this show just partially, because of the time limitations. But wherever I have seen her she made a mark. I liked her more in the season two comparatively to the season one. Actually she had more stuff to do in the season two. There she becomes mother of a new baby and she copes with the frustrations of her teenage daughter Julie. She forges a new relationship with her replacement counselor at school. Then again the scope of her role widens when her daughter breaks up with her boyfriend and starts an affair with a mature man, she doesn’t like this and her relationship with her daughters becomes a little strained. She has magnificently performed all this in front of camera.

The thing I like the most about her acting is that she looks so realistic and nothing seems like an artificial expression. She is so natural in her role and looks like the real life mother of a teenage girl. I must say that she has done justice with the character she got in the show. Besides her, Friday Night Lights have bagged one more crown, as it has got nominated for the same awards in the category of ‘Outstanding Achievement in Drama’. I hope she wins the title…

Friday Night Lights fame Adrianne Palicki will turn 25 on 6^th May. Adrianne is playing Tyra Collette on series. Adrianne joined Friday Night Lights star cast in 2006 and is one of the major characters on series.

Adrianne was born in Ohio and she got graduated from Whitmer High School in Toledo in 2001. After her graduation, she moved to New York to participate in a modeling competition. Adrianne was a basket ball player as well as an athlete during her school years. She appeared on short movies such as “Getting Rachel Back”, “Rewrite”. Her guest appearances include “North Shore”, “CSI”, “Smallville” etc successful series.

May the Best Man Win, season finale of season 2 of Friday Night Lights was aired on Feb. 8. The episode was on of the good shows of season and I also liked this episode because of the cliffhanger it left making us wonder whether Panthers will play again or not. Well, now it’s clear that series will be back for a new season. (Aah! I’m crazy man).

An unexpected pregnancy was an important part of the episode. Jason discovers that waitress Erin is pregnant because of his one night stand with her, several episodes earlier. (If you’ve missed the episode, then, click to watch it online). Jason was just amazed by the fact. As usual, Scott Porter contributes a lot of sincerity to his performance.

Smash’s searching for a College football scholarship which turns into something different. Tami’s successful ex-beau comes in Dillon and it makes Coach Taylor jealous. Oh! Yeah, Landry is reminded by Saracen that Tyra is going to dump him. Riggins chases Lyla using some unconventional methods. Chris called Tim and tells him he knew exactly what Tim was trying to do and it wouldn’t work. Because of Eric’s efforts, Smash got a meeting with small Whitmore University who offered him a scholarship.

Smash accepts the offer and was found crying later on by his mum. So, the season 2 ended. It’s good because now we guys will have season 3 on our TV sets and we’ll once again cheer up for Panther

Well, now the deal between NBC and DirecTV has officially confirmed and the series will blossom weekly for DirecTV from October 1, on its entertainment channel, The 101. The Friday Night Lights episodes will be shown on NBC, early in 2009 and there will be 13 episodes for the season. However, the financial details of the deal are not disclosed and the deal between these two networks is for one year only. Well, as said in our earlier post, it’s the time to cheer for Dillon Panthers as the guys are coming back this October. Ooh! I just can’t keep myself apart from the show and just waiting for the day when the season 3 will premiere.
