Friday Night Lights may come to an end!
Nay, it’s not what you’re thinking about…. the fourth and fifth season of Friday Night Lights would surely hit the TV screens. I am talking about next to these two seasons. Most probably, Friday Night Lights would get canceled after these two seasons.
The series star Connie Britton said in an interview that Friday Night Lights may come to an end after the season finale of the fifth season of the series. But she also gave little hints about the tiny possibility of the sixth season. She added, “You never know-if it does do really, really well, may be they would go on for more seasons.” So, it’s apparent that the outcome of the planned two seasons would determine the future of Friday Nights Lights. Hopefully, things will go the right way and fans will be given some more seasons of their favorite NBC Network series.
Well, Connie is okay on both sides. If Friday Night Lights returns with the sixth season, the lady would like to portray her respective character and if it doesn’t, she would like to see the end of the drama. Connie also said that the upcoming seasons of Friday Night Lights are going to be strongly strong and would have the enough flavor to keep you fans tied to the series.
Won’t you like to see the end of Friday Night Lights through the eyes of Connie. Yeah… let me tell what she says about the end of the show if it gets canceled after the fifth season “Julie would’ve graduated, so I’d love to see her off somewhere fantastic. I think it would be interesting to see [Coach and Tami] end up at the same school again, back to being on top a little bit, but even as I’m saying that I’m thinking, what if we end up moving away out of Dillon? That could be really interesting, too”.
The time of Emmy nominations is also approaching us. Let’s see whether Friday Night Lights would make it up to Emmy or not. Hey… I have hopes on several cast members. May god help the series to grab two-three Emmys this year?
Well, please don’t start worrying about the future of Friday Night Lights from now. Two seasons are to be aired soon and the future depends upon their ratings.

Two more seasons of Friday Night Lights confirmed
Third season of Friday Night Lights wrapped up the stuff on January 14, 2009. It consisted of 13 episodes only and plunging ratings put the future of the show on risk. The warning bells of cancellation were sounded to when show’s ratings saw a fall of 1 million directly, from 3 million to 2 million. Things kept on getting more complex as the show representatives kept mum regarding the future of Friday Night Lights. But, as of now, the fans can feel relieved as Friday Night Light is out of harm’s way.
Two more seasons of Friday Night Lights the fourth and the fifth one, have been announced officially. A, heart felt, thanks to the creators of the show who decided to bring Friday Night Lights back, despite the mediocre ratings of the previous seasons. The upcoming seasons of series would be containing 13 episodes each. Once again, we would first catch the episodes on Direct TV before it moves to NBC Network for airings. An attempt to cut cost has led to the decision of shooting the episodes of the fourth and fifth seasons back-to-back. The location, chosen to shoot the upcoming episodes of Friday Night Lights, is Texas once again. As the show is all about a Texan high school football team, so no other place on earth could provide better backdrop than Texas can. Almost certainly, the fourth season of Friday Night Lights would be premiered this fall. Fifth season would be following it in the respective manner.
Though it’s good news that Friday Night Lights would be back, fans must get ready to face a vast shift in the storyline, which found its way in the previous season. As we saw in the third season various characters, including the ones portrayed by Taylor Kitsch, Minka Kelly, Zach Gilford and Adrianne Palicki, had graduated. The question to be answered is- would they return on the show or have they done with their part. Nothing can be penned before any official statement so we would have to wait.
I am always in quest for the FNL news, so would let you know as soon as it comes out. Keep visiting.

‘Friday Night Lights’ season 3 ‘returns’ in January!
NBC Network has announced its upcoming schedule and our very favorite ‘Friday Night Lights’ has secured a place in the list of coming-back TV shows. As of now, it’s apparent that series will return with third season in January, 2009.
A few days ago, speculations were being made that season 3 of ‘Friday Night Lights‘ will be re-started in February but network has made clear everything. It’ll make a comeback on January 16th at 9:00 pm, surely on Friday Night. Wow!! I am desperately waiting for more of ‘Friday Night Lights’! Get ready to catch it on Jan, 16!
Okay, did you watch the last episode entitled ‘New York, New York, of season 3, aired on November 19, 2008? As very usual or showcasing what anyone can expect from ‘Friday Night Lights’ episode? It was a great episode. We saw that Tim was worried to know that Jason wanted to leave Dillon. Financial issues caused a riff between Tami and Eric. Meanwhile, Julie talked to her dad about Matt’s idea. Finally we saw Matt playing football again. After watching this episode, I really felt like saying thanks to the ones who created this awesome drama. Thanks … buddies!
Not only this one, there’re several episodes, aired during third season, which rang the bells of my heart. Yeah, here I’d like to mention the name of ‘Every Rose has Its Thorn’. In this episode, Cash exposed a new side of his personality in front of Tyra. Jason had his troubles with Erin’s actions.
‘Hello, Goodbye’ was also interesting. Here, we saw Coach Taylor and Smash saying goodbye. Tyra began dating Cash. Every episode was okay, above mentioned are my favorite ones. All these episodes are available here to download; you guys can click to download now.
Really, it’s a show which can make you laugh and cry and even beg for more seasons of ‘Friday Night Lights’. Everyone plays his/her part brilliantly and chemistry between the different characters of series is really superb.

Despite all, the series has made it
Friday Night Lights, the series that started in 2006 and follows the life of a small town, Dillon, Texas, where football is everything, is currently into its third season. I still remember the day, when the series started, no one was even sure that if it will complete its first season. But, it did, and then came the second season. There were rumors that the series will be cancelled after the second season is over. But, here it is with yet another season and is going pretty good.
This is one of the rarest series that has been liked by the critics, as well. The critics were so impressed with the series that they were of the view that this is probably best sports related series on television. Virginia Heffernan for the New York Times wrote that ‘if the season is anything like the pilot, this new drama about high school football could be great — and not just television great, but great in the way of a poem or painting.’ Leave aside the critics there are people who are so much in love with the series. And, that can simply be seen from the sites that the fans have build up, that have been maintained by fans and where they keep all the positive things about the series. Now, this is the craze for football or is it the young boys in the series or is it both the factors together that is attracting people. No one can be sure of that. But, one thing is there that the series is being liked overall.
One thing that I still don’t get is that when the series was doing so well, why did they think of canceling the series. It was only after the protest from the fans that the channel decided to renew the series. Anyways, all is well, that ends well. I just hope that we get to see lots more of the series. And if anyone knows the answer to the question, please let me know.

Let’s rock on with FNL this October!
‘Friday Night Fans’…… I know every fan is happy as series is back with the third season. When, it aired the second season finale ‘May the Best Man Win’ on February 8, 2008, I was sure that series would be back very soon, even when rumors of cancellation were there.
But, we had to wait a lot. And, ‘FNL’ returns with new episodes exactly after 7 months… it was a long time and I passed it watching previous ‘Friday Night Lights’ episodes. As of now, it’s good that FNL is back.
Third season was premiered on October 1, 2008 and the season opener was entitled ‘I Knew You When’. In this episode we see that Eric tries hard to keep his job. Tami realizes that the school complaints about lack of funds when it comes to education; but always has enough money to sponsor Football programs. On the other hand, Tyra realizes that her lackluster freshman grades may stand in her way to get into her dream college. Smash worries that it’d not be easy for him to make a comeback, because of his injuries. It was a good episode and for me, the best part was when tension emerges between Lyla and Riggins.
Next we see, ‘Tami Knows Best’. When I saw the title of this episode, I thought that it’d be ‘Tami centric’ episode and it somehow proved that. We see that Tami becomes frustrated over Tyra’s recent activities. Matt has an intention to help his grandmother and while doing so; he accidentally stumbles upon his mother. Smash is dealing with his injuries so Captain Taylor tries his best to encourage him.
Third episode ‘How the other half Lives’ was aired on October 15, 08. Eric ponders over his job and its security. Tami behaves nicely with newcomer Katie McCoy.
Now, we’ll catch the next episode ‘Hello Goodbye’ on October 22, 2008. Following it’d be ‘Every rose has its Thorn’, scheduled to air on October 29, 08. Hey! I’ll be back with my review on the upcoming episode …. Enjoy!

Leave No One Behind review
What should I say about this great episode? It was actually a reminder which reminded us that show is really superb. Series deserves to be said wonderful as it simply tells stories about these characters lives and plays things out in an emotionally believable way. Right from its starting episode was having fine moments and I really felt right from beginning. Every scene in this episode worked and made us feel so real. This Friday Night Lights season is with too many accidental murders, drug dealers and some troublesome occurrences.

Being very honest with you, I do have direct issues with Landry arc and the way to bring Landry and Tyra was very uncomfortable. It was good to see Landry being much more his classic self here, as he taunted a troubled Matt by saying “I just don’t want to see you become an at-risk youth.” I liked what is being done with these characters now.
He is having himself in the middle of a triangle love story MST3K loving Jean began dating Landry, while an increasingly jealous Tyra looked on. Scenes with Matt and Smash were the best, not from the episode even I think from the season. Pissed off as Carlotta gone, Matt starts acting like a yank and even calls his teacher a bitch, getting drunk and meets Tim Riggins. Matt Saracen reaches at its lowest point.
Tami Taylor and Tyra’s relationship is continuously blossoming. So, Julie is covetous. Smash is seeking advice from Coach Taylor and tells the team to play as hard as they can and I really felt Smash’s pain. His speech before the match was very impressing and yeah, last scene with him in the locker room was wonderful.
