I am not a Friday Night Lights hater, instead I love the show. But yes I am a bit angry with the long wait they guys are causing due to their deals with the channels. I’ve read from Buddy TV that thirteen episodes of third season of show will be aired on October1 on direct TV but in February on NBC. The buddy reports show speculations that who don’t have direct TV would prefer to illegally download episodes of Friday Night Lights, immediately after they will air on Direct TV. But I disagree with this.

I am also a huge fan of Friday Night Lights and I have watched the shoe regularly. In fact after it had its finale and was preparing for the third season, I kept on watching the previous episodes here. But now, when I am getting news about the show that Jason and Smash will be in recurring roles and many other characters will be busy in concentrating upon their careers more than the game, I think I am more interested in the previous two seasons rather than the new one.

I am not finding anything exciting in the storyline now which can make me curious of watching it as soon as possible. Many people must agree with me at this point, and I suppose, now everybody will have that patience for the third season that they will be able to wait for whenever it will come.

I would like to watch the show only if it is gonna present something different and related with the game. I want the storyline now to be attentive towards game more than the emotional drama. Now I want the team cheering up after winning so may matches and appearing in newspapers regularly.

It will be wonderful if their competition gets tougher than before and the writers involve viewers as well in their fears about the tournaments and preparations against the rivals and based upon observation of rival’s past records. I’ll find the show entertaining now if it presents hard work of players in practice sessions and seating players in the thrilling scenes of last minutes of matches.

I am pretty happy with this news man! Those rumors were really lamentable for me when I heard that NBC guys are canceling the Friday Night lights and it is not coming back with third season. But, now what a sigh of relief as I’ve got confirmation of the third season’s arrival. Its coming back on October 1 on Direct TV at Channel 101. Although, NBC airings will begin in February. Executive Producer Jason Katims revealed this at Television Critics Association panel as per the buddy TV reports.

Thanks to the buddy TV for giving me such wonderful news. You know I love football and that I love Friday Night Lights. The show displays a strange sportsmanship and awesome spirit for sportspersons like me. I am watching it from the beginning. The first season episodes were the best in my opinion. In the second season the story line got a little weakened and the storyline got a bit slow. I think this was the reason that NBC decided to cancel the show and to cease the third season in the cold box. But the lucky Friday Night Lights got the positive reviews about the show from viewers and by media, so it convinced NBC to allow it to come back on screen. The third season will air only thirteen episodes. But even this chunk is enough for my kind of fans.

I am still thinking that what will happen after the third season comes to an end. Never mind then I’ll again reach here to watch its previous episodes and will retain it deep in my heart. Like now too I watch specific episodes containing football tournaments of Dillons on every weekend and sometimes at late night, when I am not feeling like to go to bed.

Hey they guys did a little chit chat about the coming season at TCA panel, as there were news on buddy TV that in the coming episodes, Lyla will now go through born again phase of life and will officially date Riggins when Jason is going away for the sake of his career and studies. I am now more desperately waiting for the season.

Hey guys, how are you doing? I love to play football and Rugby. There was the single TV show on screen which was valuing the Football and made it a popular sport among those too who has never watched any football tournament. The filming of tournaments was so good that even a non-player can understand where match is stucked and what is required to push it on or what is required to win.

Thanks to Friday Night Lights writers, for making Football, this interesting. Now the show is off screen and is coming back in October. But I am really missing this show as I was in continuity with it and never missed a single episode. Now it seems like something is missing from my routine. Every week on the same day, I still wait for it on television.
But I am now thankful that I have reached here to watch my favorite show here when it is off air. So it helps me cutting off my wait and wait has become easy. I have told many of my teammates about this show and this site, and they too agree with me that this is the best show about football. But I am happy with the show people that they are bringing the new season back in the same year it closed. Otherwise TV shows once closed come back after a long span, as many have done due to writer’s strike this year.

I like the Jason’s part most in this show. I like the blend of drama and sports in it, as it shows a player’s life in its true form that under what pressures he plays to make the audiences cheer. A player has to bear all the grudge and criticism of people after even one little defeat. I like Jason’s work the most because of this touch in his character.

He was a good player, but when he is not able to play anymore, he’s alone and all his fans have gone in dark. Still he’s enthusiastic and let’s watch, what new he brings in the next season.

Hey welcome to Friday Night lights . In this section I am going to share something wonderful about the show. We all know Tami Taylor, the intoxicant performer as Coach Eric’s wife. This year she has bagged one nomination for her from Television Critics Association awards in the category of ‘Individual Achievement in drama’.

I have not seen much of this show just partially, because of the time limitations. But wherever I have seen her she made a mark. I liked her more in the season two comparatively to the season one. Actually she had more stuff to do in the season two. There she becomes mother of a new baby and she copes with the frustrations of her teenage daughter Julie. She forges a new relationship with her replacement counselor at school. Then again the scope of her role widens when her daughter breaks up with her boyfriend and starts an affair with a mature man, she doesn’t like this and her relationship with her daughters becomes a little strained. She has magnificently performed all this in front of camera.

The thing I like the most about her acting is that she looks so realistic and nothing seems like an artificial expression. She is so natural in her role and looks like the real life mother of a teenage girl. I must say that she has done justice with the character she got in the show. Besides her, Friday Night Lights have bagged one more crown, as it has got nominated for the same awards in the category of ‘Outstanding Achievement in Drama’. I hope she wins the title…

Hey football freaks, you surely like this show a lot, if you like football. I’m a football freak, and watch tournaments. This show is my favorite when there are no tournaments are going on. In fact this is the mix of personal life of players as well as about the real issues of Football. The season three is far away yet. So I am just looking for the latest updates about the season on internet. Today I was reading news on buddy tv as usual and the title Friday Night Lights caught my eye. The news said that two of regular Friday night light stars will be now guest stars in the coming season. I got curious so I scrolled down to find the names of the stars. One name was pretty shocking, Jason Street. How can they expel him from the show like this, when he is the very important part of the show? After all he is depicting the bitter reality of a player’s life when he is not able to play anymore. The other name is Smash Williams (Gaius Charles), the guy who got caught taking steroids and then after given a blasting speech in the locker room in the episode “May the best man wins” after his suspension.

The news says that the reason behind cutting off their roles is budgetary as well as creative. But as far as I think these can be only budgetary. Because they can still be the important part of the football team. Jason as a coach and Smash as a player, after all he has remained the senior and perpetual player of Dillon Panthers. But it is said that Smash will be sent to another school with scholarship and May be Jason will himself say good bye to football, I can’t say exactly.

I am sad for Jason (Scott Porter), you know he is the center of sympathy on the show, and his role is such strong and encouraging for the real life players too. If he still has zeal to play after getting paralyzed then our real life players must own half of his sportsman spirit. Thank God they will be guest stars at least.

What should I say about this great episode? It was actually a reminder which reminded us that show is really superb. Series deserves to be said wonderful as it simply tells stories about these characters lives and plays things out in an emotionally believable way. Right from its starting episode was having fine moments and I really felt right from beginning. Every scene in this episode worked and made us feel so real. This Friday Night Lights season is with too many accidental murders, drug dealers and some troublesome occurrences.

Being very honest with you, I do have direct issues with Landry arc and the way to bring Landry and Tyra was very uncomfortable. It was good to see Landry being much more his classic self here, as he taunted a troubled Matt by saying “I just don’t want to see you become an at-risk youth.” I liked what is being done with these characters now.

He is having himself in the middle of a triangle love story MST3K loving Jean began dating Landry, while an increasingly jealous Tyra looked on. Scenes with Matt and Smash were the best, not from the episode even I think from the season. Pissed off as Carlotta gone, Matt starts acting like a yank and even calls his teacher a bitch, getting drunk and meets Tim Riggins. Matt Saracen reaches at its lowest point.

Tami Taylor and Tyra’s relationship is continuously blossoming. So, Julie is covetous. Smash is seeking advice from Coach Taylor and tells the team to play as hard as they can and I really felt Smash’s pain. His speech before the match was very impressing and yeah, last scene with him in the locker room was wonderful.

How powerful and involving an episode can be, Friday Night Lights is the answer and Leave No One Behind proved it once again. Although, we are left with various unsolved puzzles which will be solved in upcoming episodes…. So wait for ……

Friday Night Lights fame Adrianne Palicki will turn 25 on 6^th May. Adrianne is playing Tyra Collette on series. Adrianne joined Friday Night Lights star cast in 2006 and is one of the major characters on series.

Adrianne was born in Ohio and she got graduated from Whitmer High School in Toledo in 2001. After her graduation, she moved to New York to participate in a modeling competition. Adrianne was a basket ball player as well as an athlete during her school years. She appeared on short movies such as “Getting Rachel Back”, “Rewrite”. Her guest appearances include “North Shore”, “CSI”, “Smallville” etc successful series.

May the Best Man Win, season finale of season 2 of Friday Night Lights was aired on Feb. 8. The episode was on of the good shows of season and I also liked this episode because of the cliffhanger it left making us wonder whether Panthers will play again or not. Well, now it’s clear that series will be back for a new season. (Aah! I’m crazy man).

An unexpected pregnancy was an important part of the episode. Jason discovers that waitress Erin is pregnant because of his one night stand with her, several episodes earlier. Smash’s searching for a College football scholarship which turns into something different. Tami’s successful ex-beau comes in Dillon and it makes Coach Taylor jealous. Oh! Yeah, Landry is reminded by Saracen that Tyra is going to dump him. Riggins chases Lyla using some unconventional methods. Chris called Tim and tells him he knew exactly what Tim was trying to do and it wouldn’t work. Because of Eric’s efforts, Smash got a meeting with small Whitmore University who offered him a scholarship.

Smash accepts the offer and was found crying later on by his mum. So, the season 2 ended. It’s good because now we guys will have season 3 on our TV sets and we’ll once again cheer up for Panther

Well, now the deal between NBC and DirecTV has officially confirmed and the series will blossom weekly for DirecTV from October 1, on its entertainment channel, The 101. The Friday Night Lights episodes will be shown on NBC, early in 2009 and there will be 13 episodes for the season. However, the financial details of the deal are not disclosed and the deal between these two networks is for one year only. Well, as said in our earlier post, it’s the time to cheer for Dillon Panthers as the guys are coming back this October. Ooh! I just can’t keep myself apart from the show and just waiting for the day when the season 3 will premiere. NBC has decided to make a deal with DirecTV to bring your fave Friday Night Lights for the season 3. Hold your breath as no official announcement has been made by the network but there’s a chance that the official pick up announcement might come on April2, when ABC is doing a prime time schedule presentation in New York. The network searched for ways to renew the series after the fans voiced over the cancellation of show. Kyle Chandler (our beloved coach Taylor) revealed that season 3 will begin filming this June in Austin. He said that dot the i’s and cross the t’s.

It was previously reported that NBC was trying to recruit help from other channels to keep the show on air. However, the exact nature of the deal between NBC and DirecTV won’t be made public until it is official but it’s clear that first run of the new Friday Night Lights episodes would air on DirecTV and Friday Night Lights episodes would air on ABC shortly thereafter.

The show is one of the most critically acclaimed series on TV but still this show averaged 6.20 million viewers previous year and 6.18 million viewers this year. It can be a big boon for DirecTV and that’s why the network is interested in such deal.

This is great news because no one likes to give up on shows as good as Friday Night Lights. So far there’s no information when the series will be back but no need to worry because in the next two days we should officially be able to cheers for the Dillon Panthers, high school football team in a crazy town in Texas. Now the only thing to think about is what they are going to do about all the kids going to college next season.
